I've had a million of them but this was last weekend. Been wanting to build a shed for my generator but have so much to do already, plus my wife was itching for a weekend drive, so I found a nice shed on Craiglist for 100 bucks, 50 miles away. I brought tools to take it apart but the seller and his dad stuffed it into my pickup before I could spit. So I strapped it down and off we went.
I hadn't realized it was the windiest day on earth. Seemed OK though, until one of the cheapo Harbor Freight ratchet straps broke, about a mile from the next highway exit. Fortunately the other one held until I pulled off and fixed it. Made it to the cabin smoothly afterward.
C'mon guys..

2 hours to disassemble and load, 3.5 hours to reassemble because you forgot how you took it apart. 5.5 hours x $40 an hour (gotta value your own time) = $220 to do it "right."
Your way: .5 hours to unload and bang one steel panel back in place = $20.
I say, you just saved $200.
Also looks like a decent shed for $100.

I once jacked up a garage, backed a dump truck under it through the door opening (door removed), a couple of 6x6 beams across the bed, l let it down and drove nearly a mile to the new location! Whatever works!

Thanks for this Paulz! So funny folks !!! I once thought it would be a good idea to go into major debt for us and buy 480 acres of "waste" land and wetlands and put a micro cabin on it as a retreat from the city life.... Could have spent the 1/4 million $$ on traveling the world and retiring early....

Those orange HF ratchet straps are deth traps paulz. When on sale 2in ratchet straps are around $10 each and can take way way more abrasive edges.
My last haul to the scrap yard.
