OK, at 9PM on Nat Geo, 2/24/15 is "Building Wild", new shows, these 2 guys build cabins. But after its over, a new show called Cabin Fever at 10PM is on. The Cabin Fever show is a brand new series. The one before should also be good.
Anyway, dont miss it. I am setting a reminder on my TV.
Nat Geo is channel 273 in my area.

Saw this preview "When you're building a massive, multi-level cabin in the mountains of Utah, the devil is in the details. CABIN FEVER PREMIERES TUESDAY FEBRUARY 24 at 10P."
Then they showed a full crew on a massive build site with a crane lifting wall sections.

I fell asleep half way through Cabin Fever.
Yes, far from a cabin, massive home more like it.

So far what I've seen seems to be for people that have pretty large budgets. You bought a defunct ski mountain???? Rustic setting in the wild with running water and electric? There's some good ideas that can be swiped so I'm not opposed to watching these. The Building Wild I find the more interesting of the two and closer to my budget. I'm a little surprised they put this on TV as there's some obvious national code violations and safety concerns. I'm pretty sure I don't want to own anything that was built in a week. The one show where "none" of the lumber will come from anywhere but his own lumber mill??? So the pressure treated and CDX came from where??? I've yet to see them build a foundation I would trust but maybe they are doing more work than I know but it didn't happen in a week. I guess you take all of these show with a grain of salt.

Remember these shows are for entertainment purposes only lol. However, on Cabin Fever where the one guy goes off to repair a porch that was damaged by a tree in a wind storm near Wetmore Mi., that was about 10 miles from our cabin. I almost fell out of my seat hahaha.
