I went for a walk today and took a picture of this old truck parked along the river bank. I bet it might have some stories if it could talk. This is on some land my son owns and some day I will see what year it is. I'm guessing 30 or 40's.

Some old time cabin pictures.
First is my g grandfather and family posing by a still-standing cabin he built around 1900. He was a school teacher in addition to carpenter and farming. He built many more houses, most still standing, in Harrodsburg, Ky.
Second picture came from another family line. Came from my grandparents picture collection, but I don't remember them telling me which ancestor's place had fallen into decay. Somewhere near Cumberland Falls, Ky.
Both cabins were definitely off-grid G grandfather's house in Fentress Co, TN
| Unknown ancestor KY cabin circa 1920

TH. You are right this country has a lot of cars and trucks just parked like that. There are two more on his property and I have three of them. Lol. It never rains in this country for anything to rust.
I'm not on the Rez thou kinda look like. Lol
SE Ohio. Great looking old homesteads. A lot of history right there.

Abandoned 16x20 cabin (or house?) not too far from Boiling Springs Lakes in Brunswick County, NC. Wish I owned it.
