I have this idea... I ordered a used, with broken yet usable screen, smartphone with 8mp camera, HD video capabilities, and 4G service. ($16 with free ship btw)

I can 'add' it to my data plan for $10 a month.

I then want to hook it up on a tree, inside a small camouflaged box, and use this app ($5) that will take a video and upload it to my dropbox anytime it senses movement....

The only thing I need to solve is the power. I looked into solar chargers like this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Perfect-Solar-Power-10000mAh-External-Battery-Charger-for-iPh one-iPad-Samsung-/111162167962?_trksid=p2054897.l4275

Which is great as it has a 10,000 capacity as well but I don't think they will work for my application as I want to have a continuous charging from it while I believe you can't have it charge your phone unless ti is fully charged... If I am wrong: I can use this thing and no need for solution...

But if I can't: any idea how I make my own simple solar charger for the phone?
