Have you ever wondered about the people we read about on this forum??? one guy I cannot remember his name ....him and his wife bought property in Upstate NY....and we going to live off grid in a camper...guy had some great idea's....or the guy who lived in NYC and him and his wife would get on a train and ride it to different locations to look at property to look at building a cabin...and the one that were only here for a short while~~ talking about a cabin and building one off grid and to live off the land...I was thinking if these and others that have visited the forum...ever found there cabin in the woods...I hope so....

Yes, i think the first guy might be Smitty? Remember Plickety Cat? She seemed very intelligent.... lived in Alaska i think. Remember Squirrel ? Havent heard from her in a while either.

I liked grandma off grid.she was pretty cool.always doing a lot of this and that.pretty wholesome lady.

I haven't been on here long enough to have any reunion thoughts, but do find myself thinking about some of you when I can't fall asleep at night.
Oh, I wonder if so and so figured out what he wanted to do with that toilet.... Hmmm.....I bet Russia is much colder there than it is here.... Ha, that was a funny picture of that bear! I wonder if Elizabeth used the same guy to buy the land as we did....

ps--I told one of my hunting buddies...I would not hunt in that hollow any more...he said Why>>>...because I did not have 4G....lol...in a deer stand I am on small cabin and other forums /email /texting etc...

I think about y'all some. I gotta say that wildman is one rugged living dude. He walks to a truck stop for wifi and uses a laptop that he found. He takes roughing it to a whole new level. I dream of the simple life but am very happy to own a cabin to go to on weekends occasionally.

looks like we have a few of our regulars MIA...
some build camps/cabins/cottages etc. ,,,some have GREAT ideas!!! hopes and dreams....just wonder what ever happen to their quests for "cabin life"
so who are we missing at the campfire?????????

Yeah a few have come and gone..... I hibernate most of the winter....make cabin plans for Spring. I still check the forum regularly to see whos doing what. I have serious Cabin Fever.

me too....and I headed to the cabin for the day....got a lunch packed. Be back dark thirty. ( I spent Fri /Sat & Sun down this past weekend with some friends from out of state) we cooked had campfires / cocktails and rode ATV's all weekend
Hope YOU get to go to YOUR cabin soon!!!!
I still wonder if some of these former cabin peeps every built their cabins.
