So I.m sitting here getting caught up on some paper/cpmputer work and listening to some of my eclectic collection of what falls into the category of Irish Folk Music. And I wondered how many others might be of a similar frame of mind?
The last 6 artists played have been; Alasdair Fraser The Chieftans The Pouges The Dubliners Kevin Burke Flogging Molly
I also like Bluegrass

I arrived at the "First Ever 9th Annual World's Shortest St. Patrick's Day Parade" in Hot Springs, Ar. last year in time for the Pickled Beats show. Probably not quite the same as you're listening to but I enjoyed them.
BTW the "The First Ever Tenth Annual World's Shortest St. Patrick's Day Parade" http://www.shorteststpats.com/ will be on March 17 with Bo Derek and John Corbett as Grand Marshalls this year.

Hey MtnDon I love folk music !! There is a young girl from a small town in New Brunswick ( rosaireville ) only 40 residents !! Her name is Lisa Leblanc . She calls her music folk trash , I started listening to her music last year and for me it's great cabin music !!! Some of her songs are on youtube !! Makes me proud to be Acadian !!
