Happy 2013, Everyone!
Still cabin dreams this new years eve. Hopefully be in ours for the next one.
Spent the evening going over plans for the build and the endless details. A nice way to end 2012.

No, but that subject did come up. I'm having a hard time living that one down. Thanks to memories like yours.....

Ha ha ha Borrego...it was such a funny story it was hard to forget!!!
Cool pictures TomChum and Cabin builder...I love winter!
MJW...I remember spending New Years Eve going over our plans too...It was only days after we made an accepted offer on our land. We built a 3D model out of foamcore all to scale...it was a fun way to spend the evening!
Funny thing is, our floor plan changed multiple times after that but our then 3 year old daughter had the time of her life playing with our 3D model...it became her dollhouse people's cabin...that's when it really took on a life of its own

Lol,I remember brining Michelle out here in the winter time, and by walking baby steps through the snow, marking out the location of the cabin, here is the kitchen, here is the bathroom, here is the living/dinning room and here is the bedroom and lastly the counters, stoves and frig lay out.lol she thought I was nut's.But now, looking back she say's it's exactly how you showed me.Those were the hardest decissions to make.Do you go 18x 20,20 x 24 or 26.10 feet more this way, perhaps further back, bigger in the kitchen, smaller in the l/d room. What pitch for the roof, size of the porches, colors to choose from, textures, wall and ceiling and floor covers,,,it goes on and on!

Happy new year all!
Went to the cabin, pulled the shovel out to remove enough snow for parking. Took two scoops and called it quits!! Time was better spent on the sleds and making snow forts!
