I anticipate 30% rise in overall food prices, corn based foods will be the highest, alternatives like rice and oats will go up since they can with a corn shortage and the sellers will gouge. short term i expect meat prices to dip 10% as livestock are culled and rise 30% when herds are smaller.
so glad i grow most of my own food and forage for wild plants, the drought and excessive sulight has made it easy to harvest and sun dry all the produce i want, sun dried tomatoes on cattail flour pizza, mmmm good.
