Our favorite coffee seems to only come in the can. We love coffee, so we have the recurring problem of empty can disposal. They are perfectly good with plastic lids and we hate to throw them out. We don't need any more cans for storage or planting. Any other ideas? Is there an organization that can use them?

Try "freecycle.com" for your area---it's a Yahoo.com site here in Va.. but might be a " .org" sparky1

The oldtimer up here had a lot of apple juice cans. He cut them open, flattened them out and used them to line the bottom, outside of his cabin. He said it kept the packrats, etc. out.

Thanks everyone. naturelover66 We do recycle them, but it still seems a shame... hattie wrapped my piers in them - so far no rodents! and sparky1 already have three people that want them - thanks for the tip about freecycle.org!
