Tonight is a salad loaded with tuna cooked in herbs with naan on the side.
For a snack I'm making barmbrack (irish yeast bread).

I would go with Buttermilk biscuits with white sausage gravey and 2 eggs over easy on top. My Grandmal was from Kentucky and she made the best buttermilk biscuits with lard. God rest her soul

Went to post and saw my post from the 4th of July...dang that was a tasty meal...wish I had the warm cherry pie for tonight, it's chilly out!
Instead, I made Ham and Bean soup and will be having corn bread with it. That should warm the inner soul I hope to have enough left overs to take to the cabin this weekend...gonna be even chillier and rainy on Saturday.

Good to hear, Mike. Laughter is good food.
I've searched the internet for a device to do this but can't find any. Has anyone seen a woodstove accessory to do this?
If not, I intend to "engineer" a device to cook on the grill, in the woodstove. I promise I'll have it done by the winter.
This was tonite's dinner. I've been working like a DOG, trying to get the showerhouse to the point where I can post some new pics for TB. I have the B&B siding done, and windows all trimmed. Boy the corners were tough to finish. Fitting around rafters on top, trim on the bottom, and getting the corner tight - they keep you going round and round. I have found that I am a very slow carpenter. Still at it - redneck engineering
