2 1/2lb ground deer meat 1 chopped green pepper 2 cup chopped onion 2 TBS chili powder 1 - 2 TBS crushed red pepper (start out it tsp and adjust to taste) 2 1/2 tsp salt 2 tsp ground cumin 1/2 tsp oregano 3 can kidney beans undrained 2 can tomato undrained 1 can (12 oz) whole corn 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
Brown meat and drain. Combine with remaining ingredients. Simmer for 45 - 60 minutes. Top with your choice of shredded cheese and green onion.

i made vension chilie yesterday----had a bowl for supper tonight---it's always better the 2nd day--- that a good recipe you got i will try it sometime---never had it with corn in it----interesting....
finished up and a froze what was left of a gallon of brunswick stew today---- that i had for the holidays----chilie or stews. soups are great on a cool fall/ winter day!!!! rainy cold days even better!!!!!!!!

Looks like a winner. Will probably substitute venison with beef, since I don't have any on hand.

my wife makes an awesome venison chili. i wish i didn't loose all the venison when my power went out.
