The common 3 led tester will not indicate a fail for what is called a "bootleg ground".

The fires in California got me thinking about reducing the fire risk from my wood decks and fences. Maybe some modifications within say a foot or two of buildings would be enough to stop the spread of fire to the structure.
I didn’t know that some brands of PT wood will have fire retardants added in.
