Steam poached marinated wild Alaskan salmon, air fryer french fries (real russet potato cut this afternoon), baby spinach sauted in olive oil. Two squares of dark 72% chocolate + one square of 88% for dessert. Glass of water.

Bacon wrapped chicken breast I know, I’ll clean up my act tonight, but it was 2 bucks off, and sure was tasty! Onion and bell pepper on the side. IMG_2711.jpeg

When I quit eating certain things I did not throw anything out. It took a few months to rotate through the freezer. Big diet changes can be hard to get oneself accustomed to. Just do your best.
I'm not sure what is tonights dinner. I cooked at home and brought my own "take-out" that simply needs warming. Off hand I forget what I brought. Stay tuned.

OK. I believe the ham in tonights dinner would disqualify it from being a proper heart healthy meal, but it is not quite 2 ounces and it is relatively lean and nitrite free. The baked and mashed yam has a little feta cheese topping (feta cheese has one of the lowest amounts of saturated fats and is lower on sodium that most other cheeses & tastes good). Steamed carrots & broccoli.
