First overnight in 2024. Nice to be here. No surprises, everything as it was left. 44F overnight. Partly sunny day. LFP battery BMS woke right up when the PV breaker was closed. Taking it easy walking around a bit.

Congrats on the successful return. Always a nervous return for me after time away. Cabin still standing? Any intruders, animals or human? Battery bank ok? Water supply? After all that checks out, power up, unload truck, start fire, relax.

Walked some fence line and all was okay for that 1/4 mile. One fallen tree near miss, but near misses don't count. More fence to check but some of that will be done by ATV or horse later.

Welcome back ICC.
Back at the cabin again today for me too, though only gone for a week getting hernia surgery. Cloudy here, no rain but it sure feels better than a hospital room! Still recovering, can’t lift over 10lbs for a week. I don’t think there’s anything out here under 20!

A good while back I concluded a guy probably shouldn't have anything he can't move himself. Trouble is that stuff I could move 5yrs ago is a lot heavier now.....
