Anyone had these, they are really good! And cure every ailment known to man, so they say.
Problem is getting them out of the wrapper. Once in awhile one comes out fairly easily, most of the time they are stuck inside and take a knife to pry out. Reviews online say the same. I want to order more, they're not cheap, but it just might not be worth it. I called Reeds, left a message, no response. There are other brands, might try that.

I like my ginger in a Kentucky Mule. No wrapper involved, it's liquid.

Yeah me too. But these are handy in a dish by the door, that is if you can get one open in five minutes.

Maybe put it under your armpit for a couple minutes and the wrapper will come right off

The wrappers are foil, but after digging a 30' trench today by hand, it might work.
I got the first bag at a supermarket checkout line, just a couple bucks, keep an eye out for them. Really tastey.

Amazon has all kinds including Reeds.
Might have to toss a bag into my cart to try it out.

I did get a call back from a lady at Reeds a couple days ago. She said they changed to the new foil wraps from some kind of paper wrap, and have had complaints. I also noticed other brands online. I'm going by the supermarket today to see what other brands they have and try a small package. I paid about $25 for the big bag of Reeds I bought oniine, almost gone.

Went by Rite Aide today, got Prince of Peace ginger chews. Not in the candy isle, in the digestive health section. Same foil wrapper but they have a powdering coating, flour, sugar, cocaine, I don't know, but it helps them come out of the wrapper. Only $3 for about 50. Going to go through this bag and see but I'll probably switch brands. Online too.

Update on Ginger Chews:
Finished the Prince of Peace chews, bought a small pack of Reed's at the market yesterday, couple bucks by the cash register. These are similar to the P of Ps, easier to tear open and have the powder coating to prevent sticking.
Either they listened to the complaints or the big bag I bought online was old or had been stored in the heat. So don't be afraid of Reed's, just be careful where you get them.
