That $600 is going to add up fast because eBay adds the buyers shipping cost and their state sales taxes into the total sale. Ebay subtracts their 12.55% final value fee plus 30 cents per order from the total sale. That’s what is getting reported.
They don’t know if you are selling personal items and how much you paid, if your COG exceeds the sale price.
