My son has been doing these paintings recently.
Somehow he does them with spray paint.

Those are gorgeous WOW that is talent !
I'm assuming that is Airbrush and not spray bomb (can).

No. It's cans. That's what boggles my mind. He is going to order an airbrush kit. Now people are wanting to buy them.
I used to have an airbrush kit last century. But never even came close to mastering it. As a matter of fact. I recently was congratulating myself for painting a receiver hitch ball mount without any runs, and flex sealing a leaking gutter, without flex sealing my eyes shut. Lol.

If I was you, I think he would have gotten a really nice Air Brush setup by now for a Birthday or something. Using Spray bombs to get that level of detail is incredible. Absolutely worth encouraging IMO.

We definitely are encouraging him. Actually we might team up and start making custom frames for them in my work shop.
I guess I made it sound like he is still a kid
He's 34 and has his own family and lives in a different town than me.
He just started doing the paintings in May.

They look great! That style of painting is commonly seen in touristy cities or at festivals where the guys will knock those out in front of you within a couple minutes. Crazy what they can do with spray cans and a couple odd shaped templates. I'm a model maker by trade and have been painting high fidelity prototypes for 20+ years but i'm always amazed when i see those guys do their thing!

Nice Paintings!....but remember how many struggling artists there are, Don`t quit your day job!
