I dislike tiny houses. How a family of 4 (with a dog) can live happily ever after in 220 sq' and never have any conflicts is beyond me.
That said, the main problem I find with tiny houses (and tiny cabins) is what to do with the bed? Usually to save space it's up in a loft, but then anyone sleeping up there wakes up with their face 2' away from the ceiling.
Then I saw an episode of Tiny House, Big Living where they built in an elevator bed.
The bed platform is anchored to the walls and the bed is out of the way when not being used and comes down when you want it, allowing you to have an high open space over your head when sleeping.
Another DIY builder installed one this way.

On this site they show an elevator bed that has a live-edge headboard that folds down to become a desk.

You can get also free plans for an elevator bed from the Ana White site.
