This was suggested by one of our site visitors:

... Vogelzang Lit'L Sweetie which is a small cast iron stove with a single burner cook top that runs for about $150. The one that I have really been interested in lately is a small coal Marine stove made by a mom and pop company called Fatsco. http://www.fatscostoves.com The thing I like about these little stoves is that they do not need a lot of wall clearance since they are built for boat cabins...

I've read some reviews on the Vogelsang unit..they are not fitted tight at the corners, and are held together with metal rods and nuts.

"..Works"...but the gaps are filled with supplied caulking, and have to be cleaned out and recaulked every couple of years.

I like the looks and size of them...and price.

cheap enough...best I've found is $180 at Ace True Value...Northern Tool has them too..but a little higher as usual at $199.

I picked up this:

TSC Cast Iron Stove

Which works so well I was amazed. I have an open deck that has a 14ft vaulted ceiling and is 15x30. When there is ice everywhere, this can take the chill off the entire deck, even though it is open.

I'll be getting one for our cabin as well as soon as I figure out how safe it is to have one enclosed in a cabin :p
