I have seen quite a lot of misinformation or misunderstanding in respect to proper shielding techniques for stove installations on this forum. I have attached 13 PDF files on proper shielding techniques to give some of you a better understanding. Keep in mind these are for Canadian installations, installations in the USA are similar, but are different.
Please remember to consult the "Authority Having Jurisdiction" in your area. They may interpret things differently or have local codes that need to be considered. I would also recommend using a WETT Certified Inspector or Installer to design and install your wood burning system.
