I did find a follow-up video from a guy on Youtube about modifying a Panasonic Whisper Comfort Spot ERV to a ducted system.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eq4zMNcHOXw
Usually "spot" ERV's and HRV's have the inlet and outlet pipes right next to each other within the unit itself and are only meant to be used to ventilate one room but the guys at Panasonic told him how to add ductwork to the unit to supply fresh air to other rooms.
Ventilation can be difficult in a small, tightly sealed house because most units are far too large and powerful. A modified spot ventilator may be a better choice if you have to (by code) put in a ventilation system.

Now that was refreshing. Good solution for a tiny house. For a slightly larger cabin I would put one of these (unducted) in the bathroom. And use two of these * for the main space(s). Say one in the bedroom area and one in the living area. * TwinFresh Comfo 32 is what they sell as at a big box store of particularly fall like maple leaf colour. smile. Two of these can talk to each other so one pushes in while the other pushes out. And then vice versa. Very cool.

I also like this product.

This is a mini heat exchanger so the heat from the outgoing stale air transfers inside the unit to the incoming colder fresh air.
