Ever notice how your bright white sheets (or towels) turn yellow over time? I tried this and it worked great.

I never have a problem with smelly yellow bed sheets.....
I do grate Fels Naptha in my loads which I think really works, but I think that I don't have a problem because I don't use the dryer to dry anything. The dryer will definitely set the stains in any fabric.
I use the dryer only in emergencies.

Years ago on "MASH" there was an amusing exchange between Margaret and Trapper John when Margaret was trying to impress a visiting Colonial by implying that she and Major Frank Burns were better soldiers and Doctors than Hawkeye and Trapper John. She fawned all over the Colonial when she introduced herself as Major Margaret Hoolihan, and then added "And this is Major Burns on my right". Trapper said "On your right what?"
I thought of this when I read your line "I do grate Fels Naptha in my loads".
Loads of "what"?
