Having an Emergency Pantry or Preps is one thing I encourage for everyone.
You do not have to prepare for the end of the world.
But having a minimum 6 month food supply for natural disaster or personal disaster saved my life.
After 15 years on the job I was laid off for 7 months. My preps
fed my family of 5 without any assistance from the government.

After being called back to work I rebuilt my preps.
I rotate my stock on a daily basis.First in first out.I only buy things that I know my family will eat without complaining.

Surviving a personal emergency without government assistance was my main goal.I did it and was so proud to do so.
