Give us a book review, or chapter titles, so we know what it's about

I read that years ago...good stuff, or at least, it seemed so at the time.
Just did a Kindle search for "Wilderness Cabin". Rutstrum's book did not come up, but 19 others did. Betcha there's some good dream material there.

RUTSTRUM, Calvin, The Wilderness Cabin. Selecting a property. Transporting materials over water. Some diagrams about framing. Excellent instructions for building a log cabin using a chain saw and hand tools. Building with concrete blocks. Making adobe brick. Furnishings. Building a stone fireplace. How to install a free-standing wood stove with stove pipe and outside air intake. How to build and maintain a privy. Living in a wilderness cabin. Because the book was written in 1961, there is nothing about modern technology. Which is just fine for people who go to a cabin to escape from technology.
