This website has some cool plans. I like this one. You could easily screen in the round portion of this deck. I'd paint it a more subtle color and put on a metal roof.

I have always thought that 800 sq/ft was about the optimal size versus cost factor. Nice looking lay out too. Also got a laugh out of the authors "weekend / love shack"...lol...
