Make your own natural weed killer.
I have not tried this yet but I'm going to. The power company uses something that kills everything so well its scary. At least they let you decline the spraying around your property. I don't want the herbicide in my water.

Lots of wood burning going on here this January. I did make one improvement. Screwed a mirror to the wall opposite the bed and stove. Now instead of getting up to check the fire it’s right there!

Thanks Kin. It is nice watching the flames at night. Yes camera would work. The only other room we have is the bathroom though and I’m not in there long enough to let the fire go out. My wife, she’s in there all day but she never stokes the fire anyway.

When I was in Australia, An aussie in the outback told me all about the kangaroos. When driving, they run in front of you, the side and the back. They run into the back of your car??? Oh yeah, the dam things are bloody stupid. We used to think of them as pests, until we figured out we can eat them.
The Snakehead fish is an invasive species here in VA and MD. It can crawl out of water and worm its way across land to another body of water. People were freaking out until some chef started put them on the menu. Very tasty.
