Just a news release, but interesting, with links.
I’ve heard that Honda stopped making some of its gas products however the links show that they still sell a number of gas powered equipment types.
Will everything (except generators) be able to go to battery power?

I only see 'lithium ion' for batteries, wonder which one it is? Bat-elec seems to be a real thing now, Ive been liking my bat power tools.

"Everything" covers A LOT of things. No, not everything will be able to go to battery power. But, I do like that most things lawn and garden related are when for residential/personal use; quieter and "cleaner" that way.....

Buyer beware - in adopting cordless.
Yesterday I saw a top 10 leaf blower review that rated a 40v cordless higher than a 110v corded blower.
Here it is:
https://www.toptenreviews.com/whats-the-most-powerful-leaf-blower
“ This cordless handheld lawn blower has a top speed of 165 MPH and a huge 1035 CFM.”

Wow that’s huge. Mine is ‘only 150/600 but it blows the duff off my deck and parking area no sweat. It and chainsaws are the two battery tools I use most. In fact I tossed my old broken down 2 stroke saws. If a large cut comes along I’ll just use this.

I'm a huge Honda fan, I have said they make the finest power equipment on the planet. Im certain their electric stuff will be great.
I heard 2024 will be the last year for gas mower from them. In fact, what they produced during the fall and winter was all shipped to dealers and when that inventory was gone, that was it.
Well, I had bought back in 1997 a new Honda self propelled plastic deck mower, still running it to this day but knowing it cant last forever, I bought a brand new 2024 model mower and it has 0 hours on it, will wait for my existing one to quit. Its been 26 years now, I didn't want to be caught without my Honda walk behind. 20240413_104429_resi.jpg

Honda knew small engines that's for sure. We abused their bikes as kids in the '60s and '70s and even us punks could keep them going. Rock solid. honda90jpeg.JPG

Paul, that first bike looks like a 68 Yamaha YG5T, the CT70 and the Elsinore, based on color, is a 73 or a 74 and in mint condition. Those elsinores (125 and 250) were a game changer to competition off road motorcycles, that bike really got things moving and it hasnt stopped since.

Tmt, that first bike is a Honda S90, my first bike my parents bought me. I modified it with tele forks etc, 105cc Powrol kit so it doesn’t look very original. Another photo.
Yeah those Elsinores were a game changer all right. Before that I had a DT1 Yamaha 250, also ahead of its time but no lightweight like the Elsinore. No photo of that. My wife and friend scanned all my photo albums which is why I have this old stuff online. The CT70 I don’t remember, probably just flipped it.

Wow, quite a fleet. I assume by number 59 you’re in an organization. I switched to street bikes when it got too developed around here for easy cow trailing areas. We do have a club property that friends belong to.

I did, just a month ago, get rid of this little RM80 I had at the cabin. Did use it between cabin and shop down the hill, but just not enough room to carry things (obviously!) plus I have the cart (Honda GX v-twin) sitting right there.
Paid $50 at the swap meet, sold it to a friend for $50. Amazingly powerful, but peaky.
