There is always discussion on Hot Water and how to make it without killing batteries or other things. Heat Pump HGot Water systems exist and do work very well and yet there is a lot of "Chicken Little" over it.

NOTE: Many do not realize it but These Qualify for Incentives, Rebates & discounts depending on where you are. Also a POINT OF INTEREST, they can also be used for Radiant Heating subsystems !

Also good for the primary residence; maybe even a better deal there, depending on time spent at home.

I have had a heat pump WH for 11yrs in my house. 11yrs ago the incentives made it about the same peice as electeic. I had to replace the original at year 10yr-7months due to a hole in the tank.

My new one shows me the KW useage daily/week/monthly.
