I am new here so if this is repeat information please forgive me. Habitat for Humanity has stores all over the country where you can purchase used building materials, new donated building materials, factory seconds and a lot of other such items. What they have varies quite a bit from store to store as the majority of it is donated.

The money they make from these store goes to their worldwide building projects, which I believe is a worthwhile cause. So, you're not only getting stuff REALLY cheap, you're also helping people achieve their dream of owning a home.

great store..............i picked up 2 really nice encasement windows for $20 each BRAND NEW!!! for the cabin.......and a huge bag of construction vermiclite for the garden 8 bucks--- at the Habitat for Humanity store. i will give them business when i can.

We are collecting old doors to totally panel a bedroom in the cabin we are starting to build. We have purchased up many at Habitat Restore. We also drive around in the local area when they are having Large Item Pickup. I ave found some really cool old doors that way
