Hi all,
We embark on the dream-fulfilling project of building our cabin this spring.
Located on a lakefront piece of property, it is off-grid. Here are the floor plans:

Looks great! How far north are you going? Do you have a spot & floor space set aside for a wood stove?

I do, it will be tucked beside the kitchen table eventually. We will probably invest in a small wall mounted wood stove to save space. The cabin will be 3 season only.
It is in the Atikokan area.

Some progress to report! We hired a contractor, so I won't be very helpful regarding any technical building questions I'm afraid. But i can do my best

That is very nice progress so far Amy. It looks like an amazing spot. I was laughing at how similar the view from your dock is to my "View from the dock".
