Hi Everyone,
We recently purchased this cabin from the 92 year old daughter of the original builder (built in 1935). They had used it all these years as a summer cabin. We are going to convert to a four season cabin.
It had a screened in sleeping porch the length of the back of the cabin. I am enclosing it, adding windows, insulating, and making it a bedroom.
We are thrilled and are in the process of renovations which I will post later. I look forward to your input! 383.JPG

Looks nice! Love the mature trees, a cabin IN the woods! Also interested in interior shots.

What is the cabins elevation? The lichens on the trees (old mans beard) plus the spruce and doug fir, leads me to think is 3500-4500 feet or so?
The dormer by the chimneys sole purpose is to keep sliding snow from shearing off the chimney stack.

Sort of a fancy or over sized "cricket"

Wow your place looks great, reminds me of my grandparents camp growing up. I kind of like the pictures, the beams of light is a neat effect.
