Just stumbled across this site while doing some research for my property. I like what I see! My wife and I recently purchased 65 acres (including a small lake) in southern Saskatchewan. I laughed a bit at the "small cabin" theme here, and I may be kicked out because our property used to be a bible camp...and I have 17 small cabins! Lots of work to do as many of them need to be torn down. Looking forward to "meeting" many of you on line!

Hey there,
Welcome! I'm originally from Saskatchewan (Regina), but now hang my hat in Alberta, and more recently we are in the process of closing on a property in BC which will be a vacation place to start, with a plan for a future permanent plan.
It sounds like your camp would be a wonderful property - sounds idyllic!

Ask the local fire department if they need some practice places. They can help you for free. And they'll remember your contribution to their training plans.
