Our cabin seems really dark inside and I wanted to break up the dark wood walls. I used cheap galvanized sheets on our small 14' front wall. It helps reflect some light and was faster than drywall or wood to put up. I trimmed the metal with inexpensive furring strips and rough cut privacy fence wood. The privacy fence wood was also used to do a 20' wall. It is slightly curved on one end and have to be trimmed, but they are 6'6" long and only cost about $1.60 each! metal wall

I like it. We did same thing in lower level of our cabin. Different wood, metal look on every wall (even the ceiling!) 20170215_160452.jpg
