It's been years in the building and finally is done so i wanted to share with my SCF pals. When we first got our land in the desert 8 years ago, my wife said, 'honey we need a screen porch', to which I reply, ' it's too dry out here for bugs of any consequence'
Hahahahaha, I am so dumb...
Bugs so big and nasty they are like out of a horror movie...only once in a while mind you, but when they are there, they will drive the most macho man inside in a second.
So I planted the poles to go in keeping with the main house, waited two years (?) and built a porch as big as the house (although only 600 sf ea with an observation deck on top.

Hey Borrego,
Wanna come to Cambodia and put a porch on the front of my place? I mean, you certainly are much better at it than I am. And, I would be super appreciative, to boot!
