Finishing up my cabin, trying to figure out my solar wiring before i panel the interior walls. I am wanting to go with a 12 volt dimmable led light strip for the ceiling. And maybe a ciggarette lighter plug for charging cellphone. Anyone have any suggestions on which battery, light strip, charge controller, and solar panel i should get? Thanks !

Great looking cabin. There are some expert people here that can help you with a solar system.

Awesome cabin you have there I can certainly appreciate small spaces as the cabin that came with our property was only 8x8 lol . We have since added a 8 x 6 screened room.

We installed a very modest solar system (80 watt w/ 110 amp hour battery) that is attached to a 1500 watt inverter. It runs a vacuum, small fan, chargers our phones and laptops and powers a dimmable led lighting strip. (Sorry for the bad picture quality)

I also installed an outlet box so we can run power from our gennie into the cabin.

Best of luck getting set up and post an update when you can!

Nice cabin !!! You could take 2 12 volt deep cycle batterys and tie them together and make 24 volts with a 30 watt charge controler with a 80 TO 100 watt panel, you would be able to run what you need and some.
