How about more details? Footprint, roof pitch, I take it there is a loft or a full second floor?

OK the cabin is 16X 16 with a 12 on 12 pitch, which is a killer to stay on,and there is a loft that will be for storage most likely. the porch is 8 ft X 32 ft and will eventually wrap all the way around. I'll take pictures of the inside next weekend

The wood is a pine knot from what we call rich pine. I used to sell them at local roadside stores but ran out of spare time to carve much any more. Hope to pick up the habit again soon at the cabin. They are pretty easy to carve as the pine knot is like wax on the inside. I mostly do walking sticks now from naturally twisted saplings. Thanks turkeyhunter I'll try to post pics of the inside soon as I'm finishing the drywall right now
