I recently built a tiny cabin in the woods. It's basically just a 4x4 cube plus a 2 foot extension for my legs so that I can camp out overnight in it. I used all scrap and salvaged materials so the cost was $0. relax_shack1.jpg

Yes, LoonWhisperer, the idea is that it is a sturdy upgrade from tent camping. I can sit and read in it or sleep, but not stand up. If I need to stretch a bit I can go outside and hike around the surrounding 40 acres of forest.

Its a big upgrade from a tent,I went from a 2 man tent to a 12 by 12 cabin.That cabin,with a porch was quite luxurious,That porch was great,!!!

There have been several other SMALL small cabins posted or talked about on various threads on this forum. It would be nice to see them all in one place.
