I have secured one acre on Wolfe Island, Ontario. It has a 10 x 16 shack that is in a sorry state. I can get a repair permit as long as I don't us it for habitation. Will post progress photos in May.

It probably doesn't qualify as habitation s long as it doesn't have running water or cooking facilities. Cook outside and use the outhouse!

We are planning on weekends and the odd week of camping on the land. The shack will be large enough for some chairs and a loft. I do plan on cooking and pooping outside, with the occasional coffee and soup inside on rainy days.
It may be a little busy during the day but the roads are quiet come sunset.
