Looking forward to see the deluxe hunting shack come together. Just a thought... instead of OSB Floor on 2nd level, had you thought about Planks (exposed underside - go with the nice logs instead of OSB chips...) or is that OSB just Temp ?

That is what I figured to Steve. As far as the OSB goes , I was just using that as a work platform. I think I will be putting oak down for the floor and I am also putting board and batten over the OSB next year. Tar paper first. Thanks for the post !

Here is a few pics of the start of my cabin addition. It took longer than I hoped since the builder I had lined up had too much of a work load to help me out. So , I decided to take it on myself. I was also working on my hunting shack at the same time.

Have Realy enjoyed watching your progress!
We're getting ready to take the big plunge ourselves.
We're getting our septic permit next week. Then the building permit after that. Can't wait!

Not quite. Got our septic permit but not our building permit. Working out a few details with our plan before we submit it. Hopefully my husband and I can get it figured out this week.
Been working on our road so the well digger can get up the hill as well as our electric row.
Now that it's getting real it's a little overwhelmingly!
