It's been a while since I've posted any pictures or updates of my project. Winter is approaching and I have a little work ahead of me before I consider myself ready for the snow. The roof decking is on and I'm waiting for the metal to be delivered. The doors and windows are framed, I'm in the process of making the doors and the windows have been ordered. With any luck things will come together in the next three weeks. My blog is a bit more current and has a few more pictures, www.szaboscabin.blogspot.com IMG_2025.JPG

good looking cabin. now not to sound like a smart a.. but about only one thing I know about carpentry is when you built a door like that the Z brace has to go down to the lower hinge, not the upper one, that way when the door sags under its own weight there's less distortion and it stays more or less square

Leonk, I appreciate your feedback, I'm a firefighter not a carpenter. I have two more doors to build and I'll make the correction. In fact there are a couple more issues with door #1 that I wanted to correct, now I have a compelling reason to "do it correctly".
