I am new to this site and find it very interesting. There is a great deal of information here. Our cabin is over 10 years old now. Here is an early picture. It has changed over the years, but is still not done.

Thanks we need to work on the view some more. Until this past November you couldn't really see the river. My son and his friends came down and helped clear it... Teenagers. They did a good job as I pointed out which trees needed to go. I was standing at the site of (I hope) our future cabin. The view needs a little widening but I don't want to cut too many trees. So for now we have a starting point of a view. I have been looking at a lot of cabin plans but haven't really settled on one yet.

Our cabin sits up on a bluff and you cannot actually see the river from it.
