Well I finally got it my 14x28 lofted barn cabin arrived yesterday. I've been wanting to do this for quite some time. It a prebuilt building but I had it custom made so all the framing was made out of 2x6. That way I can get 2 inches of foam and 3 1/2 inch of fiberglass to get a total in the walls and ceiling of R26. Here is just a couple of pics for now ill be posting my progress. Wish me luck!

Good luck! I'm doing the same thing with a 14'x40' shell in south-central PA. Good idea on the 2x6's by the way, especially for the ceiling. Not knowing better I went with the standard 2x4's, but had to add on another 2x2 all over to accomodate both insulation and ventilation. It'll work, but it's a hassle doing it.

Keep us updated. Pictures are always good, too.
