I actually came across this site doing a Google search for "12 x 16 cabin" when I was in the planning stages last winter for building my cabin. (I'm 95% done with my cabin - just need to panel the interior and install the woodstove).
I really like seeing what others have done with their 12 x 16 and would like to see more without having to endlessly search for posts.
So, if you've built a 12x16, post a few pics and share why you chose 12 x 16.
I built a 12x16 to stay under a 200 sq ft requirement for a building permit.
thanks, matt IMG_1081.JPG

Very nice TCMatt, I like classical cabin styles, yours has that forest Service cabin style, and color, like TMT's. Here's mine, 172 SF inside but have a sleeping loft. One room but I really wish it had a bedroom with a door that can be closed.
More pics in member project thread HERE.

Thanks Tom. I got the color idea from TMT (toyotamechtech?). I've got a half loft too, just no good pictures of it. Yours is absolutely gorgeous. It looks like its out west. I'm hoping to finish off the inside with some more rustic touches like your loft railing. Do you have more pictures of the inside of yours? thanks for posting, matt
