My previous posts here have documented the progess of our 10x20 camping cabin -- but the original structure on the property was a 20 x 28 cabin we built on top of an abandoned foundation about 15 years ago. As you can see over the years with numerous additions - the cabin has grown into a great family lodge -- but the original cellar was still dirt. Over the winter months my sons and I have been building retaining walls and putting down a concrete floor. The hope is to create a nice workshop and long term food storage area. I know at almost 4000 sf it's no longer a "small cabin" but it started out as one ..
