Most ot the pictures I've posted follow the progress of our little 10x20 camping cabin. Over the winter months my attention has focused on work on our original cabin on the property -- It's big and beautiful now but actually started out as a 20x28 cabin 15 years ago. We bulit the original structure on top of an old abandoned foundation and left it as a dirt cellar.Well -- after numerous additions that ceated a great family lodge the original cellar was still dirt. My sons and I have been busy creating retaining walls and covering the dirt floor with concrete. The hope is to create a nice workshop and provide long term food storage -- getting close -- another 3 or 4 workdays should finish it up.

Your lodge is beautiful! The cellar reminds me of one my grandparents had. It was always just dirt but provided a great place for storing all the canned goods, potatoes, and such. Good luck with finishing it up.
