Quoting: marker2011 My girlfriend and I haven't had a chance to head over to jim's lake. I hear its pretty nice and a lot of good fishing there. How long have you been in the area for?
Hey,
We have been up there for about 15 years. It is a great area...endless amounts of crown land not to mention the ZEC as well. Plenty of lakes big and small and lets not forget the rivers... the Coulonge and Noir. I used to go up to the Dumoine River area years ago.
Winter access is tough for me as it is a long way in but I usually make it up once or twice in the winter.

Fantastic spot there Weaver. That's the one thing that I find myself wishing for at our spot. Some sort of water feature. We always took family vacations to a lake and those trips remain as some of my fondest memories.

We'll pretty lucky, the main road along the river is plowed all the time and sanded. We just have to clear 1 km of road to get to the cabin. I bought myself a good snowblower, it takes a good half day to get it done but it works for now.
We haven't had much time to really explore the area, since our focus has been getting the cabin done. This weekend we're going to snow shoe around.

Hey Weaver,
Just wondering if you know anyone selling land in the area?

awesome! Hey we're practically neighbours, we're in the Pontiac also. Awesome area, we just went dog-sledding the other day.
