I've read over this whole thread, and haven't seen any information on your kitchen stove. What kind is it, and where can I find one? Beautiful place, btw! I wish I had the talent to build something like that.

HopefulHomemaker, there is no name on the stove and I have not been able to find one just like it searching internet sites/pics. I purchased it off Craig's List. It was set up and in a small cabin in Wayne National Forest, southeast Ohio. I bought it for $200.

Old Buddy liked the sign for your porch about "no peeing" so much that he found one and we put it up on ours. Thanks for the idea. The porch worked out great. Not hugh....but nice shade!

New lamps. The pine cone lamps were purchased off Amazon for under $70 and the bear lamp from Waterbeds for $50.

Dillio187: Waterbeds and Stuff is a store in Chillicothe, Ohio. I've tried to locate this same lamp on the Internet and although there are many 'bear' lamps, I've yet to find one quite like this one. I suggest shopping on Amazon or some other site(s) searching for 'bear lamp' until you find one you like.

Nice! I love your photography skills. My cheap little camera won't do that. Very cozy.

check into the Canon S100. Good point and shoot with a fast lens and a decent sized sensor. Set it up on a tripod and don't use the flash. Enjoy

That's the problem I have with mine...if I turn off the flash and put it on night time there must be NO movement or else I just get squiggly lines I need to start looking into new camera's so thank you for the info both of you!

When I worked at Best Buy a long time ago, the Canon Rebel was a pretty high end camera. Nice shots.

you'll notice his photos have no moving objects in them, this is a must when doing this kind of photography. You have to use a long exposure to allow the dim light to properly expose the shot. Certainly a DSLR will do this better and faster, but you can do it with a P&S.

Out for a Saturday drive I passed a yardsale and saw this trunk under a tree. After going about a mile, I made a U-turn and returned as I just had to have it as a coffee table in my cabin. For only $50, it was a great bargain.

Awesome! I had to look and see if the one I own was still sitting in our family room...they look exactly the same. I got mine from my grandparents. Great look for your cabin!

Nice trunk! Here is a photo of the trunk I found at the curb. It had some really bad blue paint on it and was being used as a childs toy box.
