Hi everyone,
I have had a long time dream to have a rustic cabin. I love wilderness canoeing and love living out of a pack. I like living simply and out-of-the-box solutions to living.
So, I thought I was going to have to wait until I retire, but I found this perfect set-up where I can go to work from this land I closed on TODAY. yipee! I never thought I would get this far.
I have to wait for all the title, etc. to be sent to me. But, I am already plotting out the cabin layout. It will be SMALL. And, I am trying to avoid septic, well situation. I hope to learn a lot here.
Glad to be joining the conversations. I have already learned a lot and had some of my questions answered!

Welcome! I also planned just putting up a structure, any structure I could camp in, just to be there. 10 years later have electricity, water, septic.. basically full time living capability, which I pretty much do. If I had known it would grow to that I would have done things differently. Plan ahead as much as possible.
