A local campground has a fully stocked cabin for sale for $6500. It's 12' x 18.5' with a 6' x 12' screened in porch. It comes with a small fridge, small stove, microwave, table with 6 chairs, small radio, wall mounted AC, heater & ceiling fan. Sleeps 6 with a futon sofa bunk bed in the living room and a single and double mattress in the loft. Looking for advice as far as pricing and what to look for if we decide to go take a look.

If it is wired properly, and is insulated and finished inside decent, then that would be about a half price sale ........appliances and furnishings not considered.....condition would certainly be a factor......and can you move it to your location..

Check: the roof, outside paneling close to the ground, look for water damage throughout, test GFI's, and jump up and down on the floor.
If it looks good, you can safely load and transport it, and unload it at your destination, then I'd say go for it. If its a sheet rocked interior, expect the corners to crack, but that's easy to repair.

Agree with the previous 2 posts - check the roof, check the windows, check for water damage, and check for a solid electical system. If it's all good, BUY IT! That is a heck of a deal! All the other things can be fixed / upgraded if those things are in good working order.

If it is in good condition like everyone says Then its a heck of a deal. if it comes with the appliances even more so. no way could you do this on your own for that amount of money. wonder what transport cost would be?
