I was browsing through some of my wildlife pics last night and came across a few nice shots that I wanted to share. I'm starting a new thread because one of the other popular wildlife photo thread was for trail cam footage. These pictures were taken with my iPhone. I don't know what the deal with the beaver was, but he was casually sunning himself and didn't seemed bothered by me getting close. It was unusual. Beaver

I guess mama doe thought this would be a good place to stash her fawn. He hung around our shrubbery all day, even after being scared off by humans with cameras. He just circled the yard, chowed down some grass, and came right back. At dusk mama came back to get him, saw him nursing. Happy ending! Click photo to enlarge.........

Sometimes described as America's most colorful bird, I recently saw this male Painted Bunting at my cabin bird feeder. (The photo is a bit fuzzy since it was taken through a window w/ 3 layers.)

These are amazing photos. Thank you all for sharing them. I love the story of the fawn. That painted bunting doesn't even look like a wild bird, it is so colourful. Beautiful pics.
